Continued Use of the Standard for Program Evaluation in King County
In Washington State, the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County adopted the Self-Sufficiency Standard as its official measure of self-sufficiency and continues to use the Standard as a program evaluation benchmark. Using data collected by caseworkers and the online Self-Sufficiency Standard Calculator, the Council demonstrates the impact of its education and training programs on the achievement of self-sufficiency by its participants.
